Hyperion Marine Group, Cape Elizabeth, Maine, an international naval architecture and marine engineering firm, has announced the hiring of Sara Devlin as general manager of business development.

With nearly two decades of diverse industry experience, Delvin brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the organization as it continues its expansion, according to Christian Townsend, Hyperion’s CEO.

Devlin’s professional journey spans across core areas of the maritime industry, including shipyard operations, government project execution, and engineering design. Her past tenures at organizations such as Vigor and NAVSEA reflect her expertise in managing complex design and construction projects, as well as navigating the intricacies of working with commercial, government and defense stakeholders.

In her role at Hyperion, Devlin will be responsible for leading the company’s business development strategy including the identification of new growth opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing client relationships across the market.
